Mitchell & Edwards at "Heart of the West"

The Cheyenne Cowboy “Heart of the West” Festival will be held Labor Day weekend, Aug. 31-Sept. 2, at the Historic Cheyenne Depot, the Historic Plains Hotel, and other locales in downtown Cheyenne. Highlight of the festival will be “The Bard and Balladeer,” acclaimed cowboy poet Waddie Mitchell and cowboy musician Don Edwards performing with the Cheyenne Symphony Orchestra. The concert will be held at the Civic Center and begins at 7:30 p.m. with opening act Jon Chandler & the Wichitones. Tickets for the event are $29.20. You can purchase a weekend pass for $65.
