Quilt art topic of Palma talk

From a Wyoming State Parks and Cultural Resources press release:

Do Palma of Cheyenne will discuss the growing genre of quilt art during a presentation at the Wyoming State Museum, October 6, from 9-10:30 a.m. This event is free and open to the public.

Palma’s presentation is held in conjunction with the State Museum’s current temporary exhibit, “Elements from the Front Range: Contemporary Quilters.”


Palma, who is featured in the exhibit, will discuss the various artists with pieces in the show, their techniques and provide a brief history of art quilting. She will also provide advice to the public on how to get involved in the world of fiber arts and show some of her own quilt art collection.
