From June 8 through July 25, 2008, the University of Iowa's twenty-second annual Summer Writing Festival is a short term, noncredit writing program for adults. The Festival offers 130 workshops across the genres, including novel, short fiction, poetry, essay, memoir, humor, travel, play writing, writing for children, and more. All levels.There are no requirements beyond the desire to write. Open to writers 21 and over.
Week-long workshops: $500-$525. Weekend workshops: $250. Housing is available in local hotels and B & B's.
