Writers with ties to Wyoming and to the University of Wyoming will sign their books Friday, Dec. 5, from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. at the UW Bookstore in the Wyoming Union in Laramie.

Bret Boundy, author and illustrator of his novel, "A Flicker of Light." He is a 1989 graduate from the UW Department of Geology.
Julianne Couch, author of "Jukeboxes & Jackalopes: A Wyoming Bar Journey." She is an associate lecturer in the UW Department of English.
Chris Durer, author of three books. His latest is "The Vansellars: Story of a New York Family." He is a professor emeritus from the UW Department of English.
Carol Eckhardt, author of her first novel, "Anna's Place." She is a former project director in UW Student Educational Opportunity.
George Frison and Danny Walker wrote "Medicine Lodge Creek." Frison is an internationally-recognized anthropologist and author, and Walker is assistant state archeologist. Both are with UW's Department of Anthropology.
George W. Gill and Rick L. Weathermon are the authors of "Skeletal Biology and Bioarchaeology of the Northwestern Plains." Gill is emeritus professor and Weathermon is a senior research scientist, both with the Department of Anthropology.
Jeffrey Lockwood, whose latest book latest book is "Six-legged Soldiers: Using Insects as Weapons of War." He is a professor of natural sciences and humanities in the UW Department of Philosophy and M.F.A. Program in creative writing.
Robert Roripaugh, author of his latest book, "The Legend of Billy Jinks." He is a professor emeritus from the UW Department of English and the Wyoming Poet Laureate from 1995 through 2002.
Starley Talbott, author of "Along the Grapevine Trail: Vineyards and Wineries in South Dakota, Wyoming and Nebraska." Talbot is a freelance writer and former reporter.
Cat Urbigkit (shown in photo above), author of five children's books in addition to her latest book, ‘Yellowstone Wolves: A Chronicle of the Animal, the People, and the Politics." She is a Wyoming rancher and reporter.
Fay Wadsworth Whitney, co-author of "A Time of Our Own. "She is a professor emeritus of nursing at the UW School of Nursing. Co-author Elinor Miller Greenberg will also be at the event. Greenberg is a writer who has devoted her career to expanding access to opportunity.
