Art Works for Wyoming deadline approaching

The deadline for the second round of Art Works for Wyoming grants is fast approaching on December 11, 2009. This is the last time these grants, supported by American Reinvestment and Recovery Act funds from the National Endowment for the Arts, will be available.

Grants may only be used to retain jobs which have either been laid off or reduced due to the recession, or are in danger of being laid off. It may also be used to retain contracts which would be cut short or terminated due to the recession. Please review the guidelines carefully.

To be eligible, organizations must have received a grant from the Wyoming Arts Council (WAC) in the last four years and completed all requirements satisfactorily. Application must be made online via our online granting system from the WAC webpage.

Drafts will be reviewed if applications are submitted by December 8, 2009. Questions may be directed to Camellia El-Antably, 307-777-5305.
