Christopher Amend exhibit opens in Cheyenne

From a press release:

Clay Paper Scissors Gallery & Studio’s new show is "Figures of the Mind," paintings and drawings by Christopher Amend.

Amend, an artist and retired art teacher, is a Worland native living in Gillette. His excellent technical skills complement the mysterious and thought-provoking images that he creates. These pictures filter Amend’s “perceptions, musings, thoughts, struggles and yearnings” through his idiosyncratic view of the world. The show represents a selection of work from the last three years, and has not been previously exhibited in Cheyenne. We are fortunate to have this opportunity to show Chris’ work!

Christopher Amend, a member of the Wyoming Arts Council's artists' roster, will be at the upcoming reception on Thursday, May 6, from 5-7 p.m. Please join us! In addition, Clay Paper Scissors is open Thursdays 4-7 p.m., Fridays & Saturdays from 1-5 p.m. This show will be up through May 22, 2010.

Clay Paper Scissors is located at 1506 Thomes Ave, Suite B, Cheyenne.
