Introducing new WAC visual arts fellowship recipient Shelby Shadwell of Laramie

Shelby Shadwell of Laramie is one of three recipients of a 2010 visual arts fellowship from the Wyoming Arts Council.

His entry consisted of two series of drawings: "Low Pressure," charcoal on paper; and "Economy," charcoal on paper, with some also including pastels and graphite.

He is an assistant professor in the University of Wyoming art department and teaches drawing and printmaking. He graduated in 2006 with an M.F.A. in studio printmaking and drawing from Southern Illinois University.
