The Wyoming Arts Council encourages you to apply for its Individual Artist Professional Development (IAPD) grants .
We launched the IAPD grants in 2005 following the successful "100 Days of Arts" campaign. Since July 1, 2005, the Arts Council has approved 69 IAPD grants totalling almost $35,000 for folk artists, performing artists, visual artists and writers. They have used the funding to design web pages, travel to conferences, record music CDs, assemble art exhibits, work with mentors, develop marketing plans, launch a book tour, etc. If it's a project that can assist the next step in your artistic career, the IAPD is a good place to start.
To apply, go to the WAC web site and go to the grants page (see left sidebar).
