Chancey Williams and the Younger Brothers Band will perform for UW Homecoming

Chancey Williams and the Younger Brothers Band will perform Thursday, Oct. 11, at 9 p.m. in the University of Wyoming Union Ballroom.
Additionally, the Cowboy Country Swing Club will give lessons at 8 p.m. in the ballroom before the band starts.
The band first played at weddings, fairs and rodeos but, before long, they opened for country artist Chris LeDoux at the Montana State Fair. Since then, the band has shared the stage with acts such as Lady Antebellum, Miranda Lambert, Craig Morgan, Rodney Atkins, Phil Vassar, Tracey Lawrence, Clay Walker, Stoney LaRue and Robert Earl Keen.
The band members -- some of whom are UW graduates, and all of whom are Wyoming natives -- consists of Chancey Williams on lead vocals and guitar and Travis DeWitt on drums, both from Moorcroft; Wyatt Springsteen of Saratoga on lead guitar and vocals; Brooke Latka from Casper on fiddle, mandolin and vocals; and Dugan Hughes of Sundance on bass. Williams also was a saddle bronc rider on the UW men's rodeo team.
