The award-winning Turtle Island Quartet will return to the University of Wyoming for a Cultural Programs concert Friday, Feb. 5, at 7:30 p.m. in the Fine Arts Center concert hall.

The Turtles, as they call themselves, fuse classical string quartet aesthetic with contemporary styles, combining jazz, folk, bluegrass, be-bop, funk and R&B. They have won two Grammy Awards for best crossover album, have been featured in Newsweek and People magazines, and appeared on National Public Radio's Prairie Home Companion, All Things Considered and Morning Edition.
