Gwen L. Fisher, Ph.D., presents "When a Mathematician Weaves Beads" exhibit through Laramie County Community College Cultural Events.
Her work will be on display from Feb. 1-23, and the reception is Friday, Feb. 19, 3 p.m., at the Esther and John Clay Fine Arts Gallery. Admission is free.
"I create art to appeal to people's affinity for organization," says Dr. Fisher. "I use mathematics, including geometry, symmetry and topology, as an inspiration for the structure of my creations."
