One of the more popular art shows in central Wyoming, the 19th Annual Douglas Invitational Art Show and Sale featuring 24 artists from four states and will be held August 13-15, at the Wyoming Pioneer Memorial Museum.
This year’s show begins August 13 with the opening reception from 7 to 11 p.m. The evening includes a silent auction, hors d’oeuvres and cocktails. Tickets for the event are $25.
The show continues on August 14 from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. with the popular Quick Draw starting at 3 p.m. During the Quick Draw segment, artists are given an hour to produce a piece of art which is auctioned beginning at 4 p.m.
The show continues on August 15 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
This year’s show features artists from Wyoming, Texas, Utah and Colorado. Artist mediums are watercolor, acrylics, oils, bonze, woodcarving, pottery and jewelry.
