Great Falls, Mont., author Jamie Ford will be speaking at the Park County Library in Cody at 2 p.m. Friday, Aug. 19. Ford wrote the best-selling novel "Hotel on the Corner of Bitter and Sweet."
On Thursday, Aug. 18, at 7 p.m. at the Powell Branch Library, Wyoming historian Mike MacKey will also discuss "The Powell Tribune's Influence on Local Attitudes toward the Heart Mountain Relocation Camp."
Both reading events are free and open to the public. They are being held in conjunction with the grand opening of the Heart Mountain Interpretive Learning Center.
