Tonight (Tuesday, June 19) Cheyenne Little Theatre Players' personnel will be down at the Historic Atlas Theatre, 211 W. Lincolnway, from 6:30-7:30 p.m. signing up volunteers to run our Front of House for this year's Old-Fashioned Melodrama!
We need have 235 volunteer spots to fill to make this production a success! Come on down and join this fun group!
We would like to have all of our volunteer spots filled by July 7, so don't wait!

Villainy is afoot in "The Maid of the Mill" melodrama

"Murder Rides Again... in Jackson Hole" runs through Sept. 9

This is your last chance to catch Jackson Community Theater's wacky wild west murder mystery dessert theater production, "Murder Rides Again...in Jackson Hole .”
In celebration of the Fall Arts Festival, we will present our final shows this Wednesday, Thursday & Friday, Sept. 7, 8 & 9, 7:30 pm at the Elk's Lodge, 270 W. Broadway.
Come help Marshal Duke and Fester figure out who committed the dastardly deed and enjoy some of Miss Liddy's peach cobbler a la mode.

First summer melodrama volunteer sign-up and orientation May 2 at the Atlas Theatre
From the Cheyenne Little Theatre Players web site:
The Cheyenne Little Theatre Players Melodrama Committee invites you to this season's first volunteer sign-up night and orientation. It will be on Monday, May 2, 7 p.m., at the Atlas Theatre.
This session is for front-of-house volunteers: box office ticket sellers, house managers, wait staff, bartenders, concessions staff and raffle ticket sellers. There will be signup sheets at the meeting for the melodrama's 19 performance days: July 14-17 (one show); July 21-30 (two shows during CFD); July 31 and Aug. 4-7 (one show). Come on out and sign up early for your favorite job on your favorite night.
New volunteers are always welcome. Committee members will be there to conduct a short orientation and tour of the historic theatre.
Reminder: Bartenders must have TIPS training, and it is also recommended for waitstaff. The next session is on Tuesday, May 3, 5 p.m., at the American Legion. We will have info on upcoming TIPS training sessions at Monday's meeting.
Melodrama auditions for "Dirty Deeds at the Depot" will be the week of May 23. Check out the CLTP web site at http://www.cheyennelittletheatre.org for more info.

The Cheyenne Little Theatre Players is holding an informational and training session for those interested in volunteering for the Old-Fashioned Summer Melodrama at the Atlas Theatre. The session will be held at 5:30 p.m. on Monday, June 14, at the Historic Atlas Theatre in downtown Cheyenne.
You're invited whether you've already volunteered or have a hankering to do so.
Volunteer slots to be filled include house managers, box office help, table servers, bar servers and raffle ticket sellers.
Be a part of a Cheyenne tradition -- and have fun in the process.

CLTP Melodrama Auditions May 25-26
Auditions for the Cheyenne Little Theatre Players' Old Fashioned Melodrama, directed by Andy Dennis, will be held on Tuesday and Wednesday, May 25 and 26, 6:30 p.m., at the Historic Atlas Theatre in downtown Cheyenne.

Summer Melodrama looking for volunteers

It's Melodrama Time!
Mike and Chris Shay have agreed to Co-Chair the 54th Melodrama, and they are in need of people to chair the Marketing/PR and Front-Of-House(Front of House consists of Box Office, Concessions, Bar & Wait Staff) Sub-Committees. If you are interested, please email them at melodrama@cheyennelittletheatre.org
We will also be seeking volunteers to staff our bar area during the run of the show. Anyone interested in pouring our refreshments must be 21 or over and TIPS trained. Free TIPS training sessions will be offered from 5-9:30 p.m. on:

Tuesday June 1
Tuesday July 6
Location -- at The American Legion Post 6, 2001 East Lincolnway, Cheyenne
No need to register, just show up and they'll fit you in!
TIPS training is valid for 3 years. If you have been previously trained remember to check your TIPS card or online for the expiration date!
Information to follow soon on our annual Volunteer Round Up and Atlas Clean Up Day to be held at the Atlas Theatre in June. We will provide all of the needed information regarding our other Melodrama Volunteer Opportunities available to those age 16 and up at that time.
