Nina just returned home to Casper after a year working for a publisher in Mumbai in the Indian state of Maharashtra. She has an MFA in creative writing from the University of Houston, where she was an Inprint Brown Foundation Fellow. She is the winner of a Barthelme Memorial Fellowship and served as the nonfiction editor of Gulf Coast: a Journal of Literature and Fine Arts. She has worked as a writer for the Casper Star-Tribune and as writer-in-residence for Writers in the Schools in Houston. She’s at work on her first novel.
Nina’s also serves on the planning committee for the Equality State Book Festival, set for Sept. 18-20 in Casper.
