Wyoming Lincoln Commission offers grants

The Wyoming Abraham Lincoln Bicentennial Commission (WALBC) recently announced that a Community Activities Grant Program is available to provide financial assistance to chapters of the Wyoming State Historical Society, schools, arts organizations, chambers of commerce and other organizations in developing activities relating to the Lincoln Bicentennial celebration.

Funds may be used for exhibitions and other public programs, brochures and other Bicentennial related activities. These grant funds are available for short-term, rather than continuing or multi-year projects. The deadline for applications is December 15, 2008, with a maximum of $1,000 available to each applicant.
