Wyo. needle-crafters decorate Gov's Residence

The Governor's Residence, at 5001 Central Avenue, will be open to holiday tours on two Saturdays this month: Dec. 6 and 13, from 3-5 p.m.; and two Tuesdays: Dec. 9 and 16, from 5-7 p.m.

Holiday treats and hot chocolate made by Executive Chef Becky Beavers will be provided.

This year several Christmas trees harvested from state lands will be on display, adorned with decorations hand-made by Wyoming needle crafters. Local piano students will perform musical selections on the 1890 Weber grand piano.

The open houses are open to the public.

Call the Governor's Residence at (307) 777-7398 for more information.
