The Rhapsody in Taps dance company will perform (with live accompaniment) on Wednesday, Jan. 21, 7:30 p.m., at Natrona County High School in Casper.
A description from ARTCORE web site:
The art of rhythm tap dance, the freedom of live jazz music and percussion and an original repertoire, make an evening with Rhapsody in Taps a unique visual and musical event. Based in the Los Angeles area, Artistic Director Linda Sohl-Ellison and her troupe of seven tap dancers, four jazz musicians and two percussionists have performed worldwide. They have worked with many of America’s tap dance and jazz legends, including Gregory Hines who created a dynamic tap work for the company in 1990.
Call ARTCORE at 307-265-1564 if you are interested in tap dance or percussion master classes while the group is in town.
