The episode on Horn is expected to air this spring, although that could change, McCarthy said. It will feature re-creations and interviews in typical documentary style, McCarthy added, and the issue of Horn's guilt or innocence cannot be avoided.
"He's the most controversial figure in Wyoming history," Chip Carlson, a local author and expert on Horn, said.
