Calender for Casper Art

"Visual Virtuality"
A show by artist Tom Loepp, shows through JANUARY at Metro Coffe Co. Paintings are portraits, still-lifes and paintings of food at Plow's Diner, most of them new.

"Energy Behind the Doors to Wyoming's Future"
Is 5 to 8 p.m. THURSDAY at the Science Zone, 111 W. Midwest Ave. in the lower level of Mossholders Design Center. Features a silent auction of works by local artists depicting their visions of renewable energy and sustainability for Wyoming's future, painted on more than 20 doors. There will be beer, wine and hors d' oeuvers. Tickets: $20, available at the Science Zone, Nelico Equipment, River-Rail Community Federal Credit Union and First Interstate Bank.

Paintbrush Porcelain Artists
Club members will exhibit their work through FEBRUARY at West Wind Gallery, 1040 W. 15th St. The club organized in 2004 and has members of all ages and painting experience. They are studying with Bernadine Kuck on Mondays. Gallery is open from noon to 4 p.m. Tuesdays through Saturdays. University of wyoming Art Museum exhibition "The Red Desert, Photographs by Martin Stupich" is on display through FEB. 26 at the Natrona County Public Library. Since 2000, Martin Stupich has photographed extensively in the desert with an urgency to record it in the midst of its changing landscape.
