The Wyoming Arts Council will hold its quarterly board meeting in Hulett on Thursday and Friday, June 5-6, preceded by a reception in Sundance for the public on Wednesday, June 4. The reception, hosted by the Crook County Museum and Art Gallery, will be held in the basement of the Old Courthouse from 5-7:30 p.m. The museum is currently hosting the Between Fences exhibit. Board members welcome the opportunity to meet the public and learn about the area.
The WAC board meeting will take place at the Devils Tower Best Western Hotel in Hulett on June 5-6. Agenda items include the decisions on Arts in Education and Grants to Organizations grant awards for FY09, approval of new artists for the WAC roster, review of the agency's budgets, and advocacy planning.
The board invites individuals and organizational representatives to attend any part of the meeting to observe the board process, and to address the board during the public comment session at 4:30 p.m. on June 5. Comments are welcomed about the agency's policies, funding priorities, on-line granting system, and other arts-related topics.
