The Cheyenne Little Theatre Players next Readers' Theatre, "Sherlock Holmes Radio Shows," offers some unique opportunities. Not only can you audition to read a role, but you can also audition to do sound effects -- just like they did on radio back in the 1930s and 1940s (and today on NPR's "Prairie Home Companion"). Auditions are Monday, Nov. 10, and Tuesday, Nov. 11 at the Historic Atlas Theatre, starting at 6:30 p.m.
Directed by Keith Thomson, with a live performance on Nov. 21, these radio shows are actually three of Arthur Conan Doyle's stories adapted for radio. KFBC will be airing one per day on the Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday of Thanksgiving week.
